Using and pairing your WeTicket card terminal

How to use set up your WeTicket card terminals and get support if needed

You are going to use a WeTicket to sell tickets or products. This article explains how to pair your pin terminal, how to start it, how to use it with WeTicket, and where to get WeTicket's or Stripe's support if needed.

Unpack the terminal

  • Take the terminal out of the box.

  • The battery is kept separate from the device, make sure you place it inside.

  • To do so, pull the bottom part away from the terminal. This requires more force than you might expect.

Start the terminal

  • The on switch is located on the right side of the device.

  • To switch the device on, hold the button for a couple seconds.

  • Keep in mind that the device may update for about 20 minutes before it is ready.

Connect to WIFI

  • Once the device is fully updated connect it to the WIFI.

  • Swipe from left to right on the screen to open the settings.

  • Go to the network settings and connect the terminal to wifi.

The terminal uses wifi only. Make sure that your wifi signal is good.

WeTicket makes sure the terminals are connected to your WeTicket account before sending them to you. If you suspect your terminal is not linked, contact your WeTicket account manager.

How to Use WeTicket Card Terminals?

  • From the event homepage, navigate to “POS” in the left menu.

  • Select your tickets and choose “Terminal” to process a card payment.

  • If you use more than one terminal, make sure you have the correct one selected.

  • The visitor completes the payment via the terminal.
