Sometimes, a customer may place the wrong order and need to transfer a ticket to a different date or time. No worries—you can do that!
For recurring events, the process is simple, while for one-time events, it may require a few extra steps due to different ticket options and pricing. This guide clearly explains how to quickly and easily adjust a ticket.
Rescheduling Tickets for Recurring Events
Click on your organization name.
Navigate to Orders.
Click on the order of the person you want to assist.
You can search using name, email, or payment reference in the search bar.
Reschedule the visit:
Click on “Actions” in the top right corner, then select “Reschedule Order.”
To reschedule only part of the order, select the tickets you want to move and click “Reschedule” at the bottom of your screen.
Rescheduling Tickets for Single Events
There are two solutions for manually transferring tickets:
Option 1: Register as a “Rescheduled Ticket”
Invalidate the original tickets without issuing a refund. This ensures they are no longer usable.
Create a new free ticket type for the new event.
Name it something like “Rescheduled Ticket.”
Set the price to €0 and make sure the ticket is only visible in the POS (Point of Sale).
Create a new order via the POS.
Use the “Rescheduled Ticket” to generate a new order.
Send the new tickets to the buyer via email.
Option 2: Use a Discount Code
Invalidate the original tickets without issuing a refund.
Create a discount code for the new event.
Ensure that the discount code allows the customer to obtain a free ticket.
Share the discount code with the visitor.
The buyer can use it to get a new ticket for the desired event.
💡 Note: These manual methods require some administration but provide a suitable solution for the customer. Choose the option that best fits your situation!
