How do I check-in visitors with hand scanners?

If you have your own handheld scanners, you can use them together with WeTicket. This can be useful in combination with a fixed box office setup.

Once your handheld scanner is connected to your PC, open the scan page in the WeTicket portal. You can find this by going to Events, clicking Guests, and then clicking the “Scan tickets” button in the top right corner.

After opening the scan page and connecting the scanner, you can start scanning. When you scan a QR code, you will immediately see on your screen whether the ticket has been successfully checked in. If a ticket is scanned successfully, it is automatically marked as checked in in the guest list.

WeTicket does not sell handheld scanners. We only provide the option to connect your own scanner to our system. If you want to use a handheld scanner, you will need to purchase one yourself. The only requirements are that the scanner can read QR codes and connects to your computer via USB.
