You can use vouchers in two ways: they can give discount and unlock hidden tickets. That is when visitors fill in a code. You can also share a link that applies that code automatically. This article shows how both options work.
Create a voucher
Go to the event you want to create a voucher for in the WeTicket portal.
Click on “Vouchers” in the left menu.
Add a new voucher code:
Choose a code that will activate the discount during checkout.
Select which tickets and products the code will apply to.
Set the discount amount per ticket or product.
Define how many times the code can be used.
Unlock hidden tickets with a voucher
Go to your event.
Open the ticket type you want to hide.
Under more options, set the ticket to only show after a visitor enters a valid voucher.
Add one a vouchers to this ticket.
Save your changes.
Visitors will now only see this ticket after entering the voucher.
Share a link that auto applies the voucher
Open the voucher settings.
Copy the share link.
This link sends visitors to your ticket shop with the voucher already applied.
When they arrive in the shop the voucher field is prefilled and active.
