For on-site sales, WeTicket now offers a dedicated Point of Sale app, built specifically for selling at the entrance or any physical location. It works alongside your existing WeTicket terminals for card payments, and adds a lot more speed and control for cash sales too.
š” The new POS lives on its own address: pos.weticket.com. Log in with your usual WeTicket account, no separate password needed.
Getting Started
Go to pos.weticket.com and log in with your WeTicket account.
Access to more than one organisation? Open Settings (top right) and pick the right one under Organisation.
Use the event switcher, top left, to choose which event you're selling for. Search by name, or toggle Show past events for an older one.
Selling Tickets and Products
Every ticket type and product for the event shows up as a tile on the right, Tickets first, then Products.
Click a tile (or its Add button) to add one to the cart. Click again to add more.
In the cart on the left, hover a line to increase, decrease, or remove it.
A sold-out ticket shows a clear "This product is sold out" message instead of being added.
š” The cart is saved automatically and holds stock for a limited time, shown as a countdown at the top of the cart. Use the trash icon to clear it and start over.
Personalize the Order (Optional)
Before you take payment, click Personalize to:
Add the guest's first name, last name and email
Turn on Email the tickets to send them straight to the guest's inbox
Turn on Scan tickets in if you want the ticket marked as checked in immediately
š” If you leave out a name and email, the order is scanned in automatically, ideal for a quick walk-up sale where you don't need to collect details.
Taking Payment
Depending on the cart, you'll see one of three payment options:
Free order: press Complete free order, no payment needed.
Cash: press Cash, enter the amount received (or use one of the quick amount buttons), and the app calculates the change. Press Complete sale to finish.
Card: press Charge card to send the amount to your paired terminal. The visitor pays on the terminal itself.
š” If the terminal shows as unavailable, check that it's switched on and connected to Wi-Fi, or choose a different terminal under Settings > Terminal.
After the Sale
Once a sale is complete, you can:
Start a New sale
Show the guest a Receipt QR code, which they can scan to download their own receipt
Open View order to see the full order in your WeTicket portal
Settings
Open Settings (top right) to:
