Checking In Visitors
Updated this week

You can check in visitors using the WeTicket app.

Checking In Visitors

The fastest way to check in tickets is by scanning them. When you scan a QR code, the app will indicate whether a ticket has been successfully checked in. If a QR code is not valid, the app will clearly indicate the issue. For example, it may show that a ticket has already been checked in or that the QR code is unknown.

šŸ’” Tip: Did you know that multiple staff members can scan tickets at the same time? This can be done with separate accounts or with multiple staff members using a single account.

How Does the Scan App Work?

  1. Download the app for iOS or Android.

  2. Open the app and log in with your WeTicket account (learn how to invite team members here).

  3. Select the event you want to scan for.

  4. Tap the ā€œScanā€ button in the bottom right corner.

  5. Hold your phone over the QR code on the ticket.

  6. Quickly and easily scan visitors in!

Filters

The app also includes a filter function, allowing you to specify per device which tickets can be scanned. To do this, tap ā€œAll tickets & productsā€ at the top of the screen and select the ticket types you want to check in.

This filter ensures that:

  • Only the selected tickets can be scanned.

  • Non-selected tickets will be marked as invalid.

Visitor List

In addition to the scan function, the app provides a visitor list. This list shows which tickets have already been checked in and which have not. You can search for tickets or orders within this list. If needed, you can manually check in tickets from the listā€”useful when a visitor cannot show their QR code.
