Why is there a surcharge?
WeTicket pays a percentage of your revenue to Stripe for processing payments. For organizations with higher-priced tickets or products, our standard rates do not cover the costs. That’s why there is a small surcharge for organizations that want to use this option.
Standard rate vs. surcharge
With our standard rates, you can sell tickets and products up to €100. Want to offer higher-priced tickets or products? Then we charge a 0.25% surcharge on all your sales.
What does this mean for you?
To enable selling tickets and products above €100, your account will be upgraded. This means the 0.25% surcharge applies to all your sales, regardless of the price of your tickets or products.
