VAT number not accepted by WeTicket

WeTicket automatically checks whether a VAT number from an EU country is valid using the VIES database. You can verify your VAT number yourself on the VIES website.

If that site also shows an error, it usually explains the reason and what steps to take. For instance, your organisation isn't VAT liable or was recently registered for VAT (VIES registration can take a few days).

If your number is shown as valid there but WeTicket still doesn’t accept it, try entering the VAT number manually instead of pasting it — sometimes an extra space or character causes issues.
